Reformer Pilates in Phan Rang

Reformer Pilates is practised on a spring-loaded reformer bed that builds deep core strength, improves posture and increases mobility without loading your joints. At Move Pilates & Barre in Hacom Mall, every session is coached hands-on so your alignment is corrected rep by rep.

Why train on the reformer?

  • Adjustable spring resistance suits complete beginners and advanced students alike
  • Low impact on knees, ankles and the spine
  • Relieves back, neck and shoulder tension caused by desk work
  • Builds long, lean strength rather than bulk
  • Trains breath control, balance and focus

What a class looks like

Each session opens with breathing and mobility work, then moves through a reformer sequence targeting the core, legs, back and arms. Your instructor sets the springs and range of motion to match your body on the day.

We finish with a guided stretch to help you recover. Bring comfortable activewear and grip socks — everything else is provided.

Who it suits

Beginners, desk workers, postnatal clients rebuilding pelvic-floor and abdominal strength, anyone rehabilitating posture, and people who want sustainable strength rather than high-impact training. Tell us about any injury before class so we can adapt the sequence.

Equipment and studio setup

Move Pilates & Barre runs graded-spring reformers with multi-position footbars, long straps and a support box, so your instructor can raise or lower the challenge mid-session without moving you to another machine.

The studio is at TM 37-08 on the retail floor of Hacom Mall, Tran Quang Dieu Street, Phan Rang – Thap Cham, Ninh Thuan. It is air-conditioned, with lockers, a changing area and filtered water.

Preparing for your first class

  • Wear fitted activewear so your instructor can read your alignment
  • Bring grip socks — spare pairs are available at the studio
  • Eat something light 60–90 minutes beforehand
  • Arrive 10 minutes early to set up and flag any past injuries
  • Remove jewellery and tie long hair back before you get on the reformer

Your first 12 sessions

The first three sessions cover breathing, pelvic stability and getting comfortable with spring load. Sessions four to eight build longer sequences for the legs, back and core. From session nine your instructor progresses you by reducing points of support or adding single-side work.

Training two to three times a week, most students report a taller standing posture and noticeably less desk-related back pain after 8–12 sessions.

Frequently asked questions

Can I join with no Pilates experience?

Yes. Reformer classes at Move Pilates are capped at 5 students, so your instructor can coach you individually from your very first session.

How often should I train?

Two to three sessions a week is the usual rhythm, with most students noticing clear posture and core changes after 8–12 sessions.

How long is a reformer class?

Each reformer class runs 55 minutes: warm-up, the main sequence on the machine, then a guided stretch.

Will reformer training make me bulky?

No. Spring resistance through a long range of motion builds lean, elongated strength rather than muscle bulk.
